What is Delta 8 vs Delta 9?

The difference between Delta-8-THC and Delta-9-THC is at the molecular level, which affects how our bodies interact with the compounds when they’re consumed. Delta 8 and Delta 9 have similar psychoactive effects but Delta 8 has milder effects than Delta 9 at equal doses. Delta-9-THC is produced when Tetrahydrocannabinolic Acid (THCa) is decarboxylated, and Delta-8-THC is produced in small amounts when Delta-9-THC degrades. Delta-8-THC can also be created from CBD molecules using a process called isomerization.
