Delta 8 vs THC

Delta-8-THC and Delta-9-THC are both double bond THC isomers. Research shows there are a total of seven double bond THC isomers. The position of the double bond for Delta-8-THC is position 8 on the atom chain and position 9 for Delta-9-THC, hence the naming structure. One study showed that Delta-8-THC has approximately 50-75% the psychotropic potency of Delta-9-THC. Delta-8-THC may be a better option for people sensitive to the intoxicating effects of Delta-9-THC.
